This is one of the most notorious campaign lit pieces in Maryland history: the "Ehrlich-Steele Democrats" flyer from 2006. The Ehrlich and Steele campaigns bused in homeless people from Pennsylvania and Delaware to distribute these "voter guides" in Prince George's County. Then-First Lady Kendel Ehrlich even greeted them as they emerged from the buses to hand out the lit! Former Ehrlich aide Joe "Prince of Darkness" Steffen calls the incident a disaster.
