Con Con Definitely Behind

Though 55% of voters who bothered to vote on whether to hold a state constitutional convention voted in favor, the share is below 50% of all who cast ballots--the threshold for it to pass. According to the unofficial results, 842,232 voted in favor which is less than 50% of the people who cast a vote in the gubernatorial contest (867,498).

Actually 1,737,134 votes were case in the governor/lt. gov. race. and there were probably a few more voters that didn't vote in that race.

The number I put up was 50% of the posted total.
