You can't... make... this... up. She is due to be sworn in as a Prince George's County Council Member on December 6. How on Earth can that happen now?
Lost in all of this is the fact that Jack Johnson served two terms as State's Attorney (1994-2002). How was the law enforced when he was in charge of enforcing it?

Well, I mean, you're making assumptions. He's, y'know, innocent until proven...nah, I just can't do it.
I was talking to a friend earlier this evening, and she asked whether it had occurred to me that Johnson might not be guilty. I had to admit that it hadn't, not even for a second (hadn't occurred to her either, but the point's still valid). And it still hasn't.
Please preserve this comment--I want it on the record in case I get called for federal jury duty.
