I saw a little late night humor in Kensington at the Democratic at-large council forum which was open onhy to Democrats even though the "public" was invited. Why the censorship of the questions asked? Why no questions from the floor? The word "homeowner." was not mentioned once. Nor was any specific budget cut. Nor was there any mention of the council's 100% increase in the county energy tax, the 13.5% property tax increase, the annual 8.5% increase in water bills, the record-setting Metro fare increase, the 33%increase in parking fees, the $53,000/day speed camera tax, nor whether anybody would block the property tax from rising above the charter limit. Why don't any of the Democratic at-large candidates ever post their views on Maryland Politics Watch? We need term limits for council and executive! Robin Ficker
