Marylandreporter.com Trying to Raise Money

Marylandreporter.com, an independent state news website that has relied on right-wing financing in the past, is trying to raise money. The site's publisher sent the following request in an email to readers yesterday.

Dear Reader,

We're a little late today due to some server problems, but maybe you didn't notice.

We are a nonprofit corporation and have begun our fundraising, and we'd like to collect some testimonials from our readers. We've heard from many of you about how much you like our newsletter and website. Could you send me some of those comments in a sentence or two? If we can use your name and affiliation that would be great, but that even anonymous comments would be helpful.
