Hrm...I wonder if Disney approved the use of their trademarked images?
Might be interesting to find out from their legal department...
This campaign is one of the dirtiest things. I am glad I don't live in district 39. Regardless, I have to give some kudos to the King campaign. This is a really beautiful attack mailer. I can't personally say what the facts are or who one should vote for, but this is an impressive mailer.

Don -
That was my first thought, too, but I think these images may have been around long enough to become public domain.

Tom,
Incorrect. Disney and Warner Brothers regularly update their trademark and copyright licenses on all of their products, otherwise you'd see a lot more pirated Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny and other stuff floating about.
I strongly suspect that Disney's lawyers may be soon getting involved in the D 39 Senatorial primary.
Hrm
Further online research shows I was incorrect...but that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is still under copyright protection until 2032.
Hitler believed that if you say something often enough people will start to believe it.
Karl Rove believes that too.
