Thanks Adam.
For the benefit of your readers, I would like to highlight one of the bills I mentioned in this video.
This year I passed the "Credit Card Blacklisting Prevention Act". This bill prevents the Orwellian practice of Amex, Visa and other credit card companies lowering people's credit lines -- not because they didn't pay their bills - but because their shopping habits (where they shop and how much) matched some secret criteria. It's unbelievably outrageous. But its a common practice in the industry.
My bill (the first of its kind in the entire nation) puts an end to this practice. I'm very proud to have stopped Credit Card companies from exploiting their cardholders in this way.
You can read/watch more about this bill by reading my very detailed blog post here.
As Joe Biden would say: "This is a Big ________ Deal!" :) :)
Saqib, you just wrote "This year i passed the. . . " How could you pass a bill? With all due respect, are you the General Assembly, or do they follow what you say?
