A new Rasmussen poll of 500 likely voters shows Governor Martin O'Malley receiving 47% of the vote against former Governor Bob Ehrlich, who receives 44%. Since the margin of error is 4.5 points, that means the race is a statistical dead heat. O'Malley had a six point edge in February. O'Malley has a job performance approval rating of 50%. O'Malley's favorability rating is 54% while Ehrlich's is 55% - again, a dead heat. One interesting question asked if it would be better for most incumbents in the state legislature to be re-elected. Thirty percent said yes and 48% said no. You can see a full list of questions and answers here.
