Commendable.
One quibble. If you, for some reason, can't actually go to Annapolis to testify, you'll want to send in written testimony.
The various committees want 35 to 40 copies (!!!) of testimony. Now, anyone has a xerox machine, but this makes it impossible to send testimony in a modern, efficient format such as a PDF attached to an e-mail message.
I'm all for saving money on state government, but forcing people to (perhaps) pay to make xerox copies; pay for mailing or Fed-X for xerox copies; and shipping piles of paper into Annapolis from aound the state seems archaic.
Now, maybe written committee testimony is accepted AFTER the hearing date. I don't know because I've never seen anything that tells the public that's the case.
Just sayin'
