Council At-Large candidates Jane de Winter and Fred Evans have filed early financial reports for the period ending August 10. De Winter started with $16,309.41, raised $31,947.00 (including a $15,000 loan from herself) and finished with $39,929.77. Evans started with no money, raised $16,910.00 (including $5,905 in loans from himself) and finished with $8,140.17.
Neither de Winter nor Evans has enough resources to wage a credible county-wide campaign. That leaves Becky Wagner and Hans Riemer as the only challengers with a shot to break through the united front presented by the four incumbents.
