Prince George's County Executive candidate Tony Knotts is offering supporters a vacation in Shenandoah in return for contributions. Is this legal? And if the resort is effectively subsidizing these vacations, will that be reported as an in-kind contribution? What makes this even more bizarre is that Knotts missed the filing deadline. Reservations are taken Monday through Thursday 9am to 9pm, and Friday 9am to 5pm, and Sunday 5pm to 9pm. All reservations require a guaranteed arrival deposit of $100 on a Visa or MasterCard, which is fully refundable upon completion of the Guided Tour. Guests must be U.S. citizens, at least 21 years of age. An annual household of $45,000 is required and both adults must complete the Guided Tour.
