Science Stuffing

Both sides are trying to stuff our reader poll on the master plan for the Life Sciences Center (LSC) at Gaithersburg West. But we caught them in the act!

On Saturday, “Magnet Mom” at the Parents Coalition Blog wrote the following:

I don’t usually cross post from other blogs, but this poll from Maryland Politics Watch hits home - really, honestly, truly, impacting the neighborhood where I live and the quality of life in Gaithersburg and Rockville.

Read the companion piece from Donna Baron, and then cast your vote.

Does the plan make sense? You decide.
Today at about 1:30 PM, the following email went out from “Citizens for Science at Shady Grove.” Multiple spies passed it along.

Shady Grove Science Center Update

Action Alert: Please take two quick actions today

The Montgomery County Council is facing major reductions in tax revenues and painful budget cuts. Unemployment has jumped again to 6.9%, a record high. One of the keys to turning our economy around is new investment in science and technology jobs, like the new Science Center will provide. What can you do to help make it happen?

1. Vote Yes in Maryland Politics Watch On-line Poll

Go to: Poll and Vote "Yes We Need the Jobs" right now. Tell your friends.

2. Speak Out: Support the Shady Grove Science Center at a Town Hall Meeting Tonight with County Executive Ike Leggett
