What Do Adam Pagnucco and Prison Have In Common?

By Kevin Gillogly.

Now that's a loaded question. In fact since this is my first blog piece in nine months, you might answer that is where Adam had me exiled to. Adam put me in my own personal Elba because he wanted all of the glory of MPW for himself. Well not true, life interfered with blogging as Adam is soon to find out. But I felt this was as good a time as any to come out and rejoin the politically active of the county.

So while we can thank Adam for spending his time keeping us abreast of the comings and goings of the District 4 Special Election (among many things), I thought it would be good to sit back and see a bigger picture to this whole blog thing. The blogosphere is larger than most of us imagined. And for me it was a surprise to find out that a famous (infamous) prisoner is blogging from jail about his life experiences.

The prisoner? Maurice Clarett, who as a freshman helped lead the Ohio State University to the national football championship in 2002, is in jail for 3 and a half years for his involvement in a holdup outside a Columbus bar.

Here is the blog. Oh, and since he can't have a computer in prison, he writes out his thoughts and talks to a family member or friend who posts it under his name.

So the answer to the question in the title: You never who is blogging - and from where.

And the corollary to that question is: you don't know where people are reading MPW.

Now back to your regularly scheduled blog reading.
