Voting Extended

A judge has just ruled that the polls will stay open one extra hour (until 9PM) as a result of the voting problems which have occurred today. However, voters who are not in line by 8PM will have to vote by provisional ballot for reasons that I do not understand.

The story also mentioned, by the way, that the Friendship Heights polling station was not operational until 10AM.
