First Black Gay Legislators?

The Washington Blade has a story on the candidacies of Anthony McCarthy and Mary Washington for the House of Delegates. You can find out which state legislative candidates are endorsed by the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund and make a donation to them online. They include two District 18 candidates: Richard Madaleno, unopposed for the senate nomination, and Dana Beyer, running for delegate. Dana also had a letter to the editor in the Blade this week.
