Leggett and Andrews to Host Live Televised Call-In Show, Wed., Oct. 21
Residents Invited to Phone In Questions For Show To Be Broadcast on Cable Channel CCM Starting at 7:30 p.m.
ROCKVILLE, Md., October 20, 2009 — Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett and County Council President Phil Andrews will continue their efforts to find out what most concerns Montgomery County residents on Wednesday, Oct. 21, when they co-host another in a series of televised call-in shows featuring the County Executive and County Council President. The one-hour broadcast will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The show will be broadcast live on County Cable Montgomery (CCM—Channel 6 on Comcast and RCN, Channel 30 on Verizon).
Leggett and Andrews will answer residents’ questions on any topic of local concern. In addition, they will answer questions that recently have been left on a special phone line and others that have been sent via e-mail and regular mail. County Executive Leggett and the County Council have been reaching out to residents in a variety of ways over the past three years. County Executive Leggett and the Council have held Town Hall meetings across the County. Many of those meetings have attracted hundreds of residents.
