Today on Maryland Politics Watch

So much is going on that I'm afraid some interesting posts will get caught "below the fold":

First, don't miss the final part of Adam Pagnucco's three-part series on the Governor's revenue plan. In related news, the Governor's slots plan comes under some severe criticism for cronyism; see "Winning Slots is No Lottery". Meanwhile, County Executive Ike Leggett testified for a lower income tax than proposed by O'Malley.

Growth policy is a heated issue; I've posted some information from Jim Humphrey on why developers may soon pay higher fees if school capacity is tight but your children's schools may still get more crowded in spite of the change.

Finally, Gaithersburg votes next week on new voting machines. And will the One Gaithersburg slate carry the election for the three open city council seats?
