State Closes Again Tomorrow


Additionally, Lori L. Mathis, the Human Resources Manager for the General Assembly, issued this statement tonight:

The Maryland General Assembly is in a liberal leave status for all employees through the end of the week. Once again, please relay to all staff that they are expected to use good judgment in reporting to work and that our utmost concern is safety for all.


And Speaker Mike Busch's office sent this message:

Due to the weather and potential icy road conditions, the Maryland House of Delegates will go into session at 11am on Thursday. All House Committee public hearings are cancelled.

The Maryland Senate will hold a floor session at 11am tomorrow. The Senate committees will decide about public hearings on a committee-by-committee basis. Senate Finance and Education, Health, and Environmental Affairs Committees have cancelled all public hearings.
