Getting Closer to Crossing Georgia

The campaign to build a tunnel under Georgia Ave. by the Forest Glen Metro station has received several major boosts lately. Adam Pagnucco, a leader in the fight for the tunnel, reports that the County Council included the project as part of its official transportation request to the County. The District 18 legislative delegation (Sen. Rich Madaleno, Dels. Ana Sol Gutierrez, Jane Lawton, and Jeff Waldstreicher) have also written letters backing the tunnel.

Maybe one day soon, residents of Forest Estates and workers at Holy Cross Hospital won't have to play a live version of Frogger to get to the Forest Glen Metro.
